‘The Onion’ is an American satirical newspaper. Given the times, it’s also an Internet nexus, with broadcasts of mock TV programs. Always, though, it’s in questionable taste, as mockery rarely succeeds through being polite.
Today, I found a ‘broadcast’ that takes a well-aimed shot at Islamophobia. If it’s not quite to your taste, I apologize, but humor’s funniness is probably the last thing on which there’s universal agreement.

In keeping with poking a bit of fun:
Weather site still down due to weather
ABDULLAH AL-MAQATI
DHULUM: With the country’s main weather authority’s website down since Thursday and fears abounding of a repeat of the rains that hit Jeddah a day earlier, the public has been turning to satellite television channels, newspaper forecasts and Internet sites for the latest weather reports.
The Presidency of Meteorology and Environment placed a message on its website saying it was unable to provide immediate updates due to a “failure in the system and communications network”.
“A breakdown has occurred in the systems and the updating communications network for this website due to the accumulation of rain water at the systems’ sites and the information network,” the statement read.
“The PME would like to reassure the public that weather conditions will be stable for the next three days.”
The last prognosis provided on the site was on Wednesday, the day the rains hit.

Yes, but those peaceful decoy Muslims dont take Quran 9:111 as the word of their god, nor do they say “Praise be upon him” after the name of a man that attacked, plundered, tortured, killed, lied to, enslaved and raped non-Muslims. Oh wait….
