Take my word for it, pneumonia is serious stuff. I know it is old lady medicine, but breathing exercises help. If you are not in a hospital, vaporizers and that vick gel can actually help. I have had pn about 2 dozen times so I know what I am talking about. My lungs are pretty scarred but I am careful and I am still here, for now. Oh yes, rest, rest and rest. Don’t overeat. Lots of fluids.
April:21:2010 - 23:37
Goodness. Get well soon!
April:22:2010 - 00:55
I’m glad you got your behind to the Dr. Follow every order Sir!
My prayers and positive thoughts are being sent to you.
April:22:2010 - 02:23
Oh no! I’m glad you’re following orders. It sounds like the hospital is where you need to be. When you start feeling better- keep following orders. Hopefully they’ve given you some magic potion in your IV that will start perking you up soon.
April:22:2010 - 02:24
o.O
Salamat! Hope you feel better soon!

This is not good!
Where are you, John?
April:24:2010 - 23:42
I have decided to add this musical message. It is an Elba Ramalho song about “saudade” – a hard-to-translate brazilian word that denotes “missing” someone. I give you “De volta pro meu aconchego”

I guess he has to undergo an operation and treatment for aggravated pneumonia coupled with bloodclot. It will take time, but let’s hope all will be well.
April:25:2010 - 05:18
Daisy… I hope so too. I was wondering if he had to undergo some type of operation. I wish that he could do a post of his update. I know that is selfish, but I am getting really worried.
I hope all will be well.
April:25:2010 - 06:42
It’s probably best we don’t speculate too much. Just focus on prayers and sending positive energy. It could be as simple as the battery ran out on the computer-or he changed rooms and can’t get a good signal- and it just isn’t a priority to sort it out given the cirucumstances. That’s the sort of explanation I’m hoping for. But I don’t think any of us like the empty feeling of the blog.
I hope your doing well John.
April:25:2010 - 08:38
I am worried too. His health is most important but the not knowing is scarry.
April:25:2010 - 14:01
John is still in the hospital. He is in a normal room, not in intensive care.
April:25:2010 - 16:03
I am not very good with that “positive energy” stuff, or even with prayers…. but I will make a wish that the nurses are pretty and the food palatable.
April:25:2010 - 17:28
Solomon2–thanks for the update.
John–get well soon!
April:26:2010 - 01:51
Thanks Solomon2…I had speculated someone might have confiscated his blackberry and told him to give it a break as he should
Kactuz, you are a horny little devil. hehehe Nothing like that to raise the spirits
April:26:2010 - 09:28
