Well, I’m definitely healing, but not well yet. I did lose a good 10kg, though, but now have to start eating. Also using muscles (like fingers) that have been on the shelf for the five days. Soon…

Piano, piano se va lontano!
Take your time and heal well! Even though we look forward to your new posts!

10kg lost in 5 days does not sound healthy.

Not particularly… most of it was fluids sweated out, but I hadn’t eaten anything either. Masses of water, juices, ginger ale (Yaay Vernor’s). I’m drinking electrolyte beverages and adding in milk. Still no appetite for solid food. That’ll come.

Might be better to stick to a clear fluids diet (you get juices, broths, consomme, and jello!) and hold the milk products until you are more resilient. “Electric lytes” are good! LOL

John,
Begin eating some light soup and cereals with milk. Then you can go on to more solid food. I hope you don’t have fever anymore. Take care.

Jello! I forgot about Jello! Off to the market tomorrow…

I hope you get well John. There are some nasty bugs floating around. Sorry one had to land on you.
April:20:2010 - 08:32
Jello is the best part of the clear fluids diet!!!
Oh, and popsickles, how could I forget the popsickles (good for fever too!)!
When your stomach and bowel have passed the clear fluids restful period, you get pudding!!!

John,
I hope you feel better. Certainly, drink plenty of fluids, namely the ones that contain indgrediants to help balance electrolites. Gatorade, although not the most appealing drink helps.

Popsickle was a word unknown to me, so I checked; actuall that is a sorbet (from the Arabic language), right ? Yes that seems good to help John; all the best John !
April:20:2010 - 15:32
Actually it is frozen beverage on a stick, with the trade mark Popsicle, sorry about my misspelling. People just use the trademark for the item.
Popsicle sticks are a staple of crafts–my sister built a bridge of popsicle sticks for my nephew’s school project and got the same mark (A) as the engineer father of his classmate! The can be bought separately by the 100′s or…one could just eat a lot of popsicles!
Now sorbet, sherbet, Italian ices, granita de limon, these are all excellent options. Just hold the gelati, and anything with milk products until the bowels are happy!

Tuesday, but what week?
Get well!
Or, as an alternative, your emotionally deprived readers in severe withdrawal from their daily dose of arabica burgessis can amuse each other by submitting interesting or weird links for each other’s consideration, at least until you are able to drag your emaciated body to a computer and, by sheer force of will, extend a gaunt, boney finger to type a few letters advising us of your continued presence among the living.

Great Idea Kactuz. I am going through withdrawal symptoms as well. LOL
Hey Rocky Balboa spoke to me two nights ago. I was watching it yesterday with the family and I shouted, “You are talking to me Rocky…you are talking to me!”
