Well, I’m not dead, but I’m not well. Some sort of flu with a high fever, headaches, and diminished ability to walk in a straight line. Definitely healing, though, so I hope to be back, if not tomorrow, then early in the week.

Sorry to hear you are so under the weather. I do hope the worst is over and that you are back to normal soon.

Such symptoms as you have had can be very draining.

    All the best!

Take care and get well soon John. And eat well – fresh and healthy food to regain strength.

IF you are dead, then I am too.

    John,

Gets lots of rest, some fresh air—take it easy.

    Hope you get better soon.

Semi dead, semi well. kind of like me on a good day.
Sleep, go light on the food, read a book.
Slowly life will seep back into the old bones.
    Get well.

PS: Walking in a straight line is highly overrated.

    Jay,
I’m glad to see YOU at least in your old form again! :-)

Oh hell! I just wrote a long, inspired response to each and all on the “Interfaith Dialogues Surge” post and then when I went to post it I noticed that it was closed.

Now all of you are safe. My logic, as always, was devastating. My prose, simply souring above that expected of mere mortal minds. In a moment of almost divine inspiration, I had written words dictated by the muse of eternal truth herself, now all to no avail and lost forever. Alas!

Damn all of you (background music…). A mere handful of comments and now a post closes. I swear, in the good old days, we could write hundreds of comments! Curses.

Now that I have got that off my back, let me share the last lines of the unposted post (1525 words, damn it!). Here goes:

When it comes to Islam, I don’t give a yoctometer. If you don’t know what a yuckymeter is, check this out. It is really cool:

Daisy, I even said nice things about you but now you will never know. Blush, sem vergonha, fique vermelha!

Actually, the link is very interesting and food for serious thought about humanity and our universe. Yes, I can do science, even though my knuckles do drag on the ground when I actually walk on two feet.

    Jay,
I’m glad to know you said nice things about me! Thanks for that.

Why don’t you post your 1525 words here while John recuperates? We can spend our time reading that long post of yours. That is if you haven’t deleted it.

The other option is that you sign into WordPress or Blogger and write the post, without giving any details of yourself on the profile page, so that the only way people will reach you is through the blog. Then sign in through your blog to this blog and we can go to your blog and read your post.

If someone writes a comment there that you don’t like, you can always delete it, or set all comments on moderation.

Don’t worry about what people will do to you. As long as you don’t give any identification or contact details of yourself, no one can reach you. Just call yourself Jay K. There are enough blogs on the Internet hitting at some religion or the other and no one can reach the writers because they haven’t given any identifications. And of course, you can always delete the whole blog whenever you like.
