    How distant?

It probably has something do to with Route 66, not the beast.

But I feel the need to express the words we all are thinking on this solemn occasion, on this landmark event…

Anyway, that is almost 3 posts per day, day after day, week after week, year after thankless year, faithfully and unselfishly taking pen in hand against all odds to tirelessly and relentlessly chronicle the magic and misadventures of a fascinating chunk of our planet, and bequeathing by the sheer power of his indominable intellect – almost to the point of relentlessly bending the very forces of nature to conform to that unyielding mental tenacity – the inspired words that leap from the pages of Crossroads Arabia to instigate our darkest hearts and stimulate our deepest and most raucous dreams, so that we too, the readers of this majestic blog, can devour, in our feeble unpretentious way, the crumbs of veracity that have fallen from the plate of wisdom served to us by this prince among men, this sage of sensitivity, this champion of reasonableness, truth, justice and eternal bliss…

    Or something like that

I’m not sure about the “magic” and “fascinating” part of this eulogy – “misadventures”, sure enough.
