Through ‘Gulf in the Media’ website, I find this story from the official Kuwait News Agency (KUNA). It appears that the US Secretary of the Treasury is at least moderately pleased with Saudi anti-terror and anti-proliferation measures.
US lauds Saudi measures to combat financing for terrorism
Kuwait News AgencyUS Secretary of Treasury Timothy Geithner praised on Tuesday the measures adopted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to combat financing for terrorist organizations.
Speaking to Saudi businessmen at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce, Geithner who arrived in Saudi Arabia last night from London, said the kindgom has taken important steps to control terrorism financing.
Saudi Arabia has also joined the international efforts aiming to prevent nuclear proliferation and worked with the international community to make new advances in these domain, he pointed out.
