Rumors or swirling around the international blogs about the state of Saudi Crown Prince Sultan’s health. Some have him at death’s door. Others report that he’s only gone to the US for medical testing. His health has been seen through dubious light for the past couple of years. Last year there were reports of his immanent death, too. I think we can wait to see what happens.

Saudi crown prince off to US for medical tests

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Crown Prince Sultan left for the United States Sunday to undergo medical tests, the official Saudi Press Agency said.

Quoting a royal court statement, SPA said the 84-year-old prince flew from Jiddah to the U.S. with his brother, Riyadh Governor Prince Salman, and other members of the royal family and senior officials. It did not provide further details on the tests.
