GD to develop new Saudi tank variants

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich., Nov. 11 (UPI) — General Dynamics (NYSE:GD) Land Systems has been contracted to develop new tank variants for the Saudi Arabian Royal Saudi Land Forces.

General Dynamics was awarded a $58.3 million deal, as part of a foreign military sales contract, to test and deliver a new hybrid configuration of its M1A1 main battle tank variants for the Saudi Arabian armed forces.
