I have read story after story of reverts (only women) being told that it is haram for them to stay with their husbands. I heard they can give him chances but he must convert or plan to at some point. However it is not so strange that we Americans find Islam by associating with those of Islamic persuasion who come to the states to study. It was the several friendships I made with men and women from many countries that affected me and finally through a strong friendship with a woman from Malaysia that finally opened my eyes to the truth. This is why its so important that when you guys come over here that you don't give us the wrong image - fasting during the day, and hitting the bars at night?? Always remember that people are watching you and you never know what small seed you are planting that one day may grow, even after you have gone. Funny how we share our articles ya??
