For example a Bedouin legal system might determine adultery with the lick of a hot pan and a set of tribal leaders, while a British legal system might use testimony, rules of evidence, and a random jury.

Both have the same purpose - determining if adultery was committed and let&#039;s assume reputations harmed - but they are hardly the same of similar legal systems. 

Hopefully, you would not expect a British legal system to recognize a Bedouin legal system judgment that adultery had been committed and reputations harmed?]]></description>
