Snake Puts the Brakes on Drive to School

RIYADH, 6 October 2006 — A school bus driver slammed on the brakes and ordered the kids out of the bus he was driving after he noticed a meter-long snake had decided to hitch a ride along with the kiddies, the Al-Jazirah daily reported yesterday.

The driver called Civil Defense who arrived later to extract the reptile from the vehicle so that the kids could continue on their way to school.
